That's a WHAT!?!?!

A few weeks back, I went to the doctor because my Endo was flaring up and I thought I was going to have to endure another round of Lupron injections, Provera pills, add-back therapy, anything...

They did some bloodwork and sent me off for ultrasounds. During the transvaginal, the ultrasound tech said "It looks like you have another cyst" so I redied myself for the doctor to tell me we were back for another round of pills, shots and surgeries. When I got back to the exam room, he started telling me about CT scans and MRIs to just make sure we weren't missing anything, since the cyst was hard to see clearly on the ultrasound, but that the Radiologist was reading the scans and would get back to us. Simultainiously the bloodwork and US readings came back. The words that came out of his mouth shocked me out of my seat. (I actually stood up and then sat down, then stood up again)

"Congratulations, you're pregnant".

Wha?

Wait.

What?

Slowly I started grinning.

Hold, on, say that again?

"You're pregnant, about 3 weeks, which is why it looks like a cyst".

Whoa, baby.

So, today I'm officially 9 weeks. The baby is a little bigger than a raspberry.

What to Expect When You're Expecting says "Tiny muscles are beginning to form, so while he might not be ready to pump iron, he's gearing up to move his arms and legs." (link)

How am I? Throwing up non-stop. It's an all-day affair. I get no break. But it's all so very worth it.

How is G? Over the moon. He's already come up with baby names, colors, ideas and has started researching strollers and carriers.

I'm so sick, I'm spending more time in the bathroom and in bed than anything. Soon it will pass and I can start enjoying life and being excited.

But I'm over the moon and love this little peanut so very much.
